JITO Vijayawada Ladies Wing - Digital Literacy For All

Ladies Wing of JITO Vijayawada Chapter and P B Siddhartha College Alumni Association in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science on 2nd May launched “DIGITAL LITERACY FOR ALL” training programme under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Sakshyatra Abhiyan [PMGDisha] at PB Siddartha College of Arts and Science in Vijayawada for nearly 40 housewives. It will be a 10-day practical training programme on digitalisation covering internet-based transactions, gadgets, operation of various software and social media. At the end of which an assessment will be made and participants will be awarded certificates by the Government of India, qualifying them as Digitally Literate Citizens.Present on the occasion were, Mr Ramesh Jain, Chapter Chairman, Mr Amit Jain, Chief Secretary, Mr. Dinesh Shyam Sukha, Secretary, Mr Ashok Golecha, Mrs Garima Sipani Ostwal, President, Vijayawada JITO Ladies Wing, Ms. Amrita Tated, Vice-chairman, Mrs Sejal Shah, Chief Secretary. Ms Sonal Kothari, Joint Secretary, Mrs. Jaya Gosar and Mrs. Poonam Mutha (Vice President-3) with the support from JLW Committee have organised the programme.
